Configuring Network products

By default, Posit Workbench accepts connections on port 8787 for HTTP and 443 for HTTPS.

Outbound access

Note

License file activation does not require outbound network access and is the recommended way to license Posit Workbench. The information below applies only to license key activation.

For online license key activation, allow outbound access to wyday.com.
