What is the difference between RStudio Pro and RStudio Open-Source?

RStudio is an integrated development environment (IDE) for R. It includes a console, syntax-highlighting editor that supports direct code execution, and tools for plotting, history, debugging, and workspace management. RStudio is available in open-source and commercial editions.

RStudio Pro is the commercial edition of the RStudio IDE. RStudio Pro is the version of the IDE that ships with Posit Workbench. It includes all of the features available in the open source edition and additional pro-only features described in this Workbench User Guide.

RStudio Open Source is the freely available edition of the RStudio IDE.
