Connect Cloud how-to guides
These how-to guides show you how to deploy applications and publish documents to Connect Cloud. Each guide for a framework covers every way to deploy that kind of content, so you can pick the method that fits how you work.

Which method do I use?
- Your code is in a GitHub repository: Use GitHub to republish automatically when you push changes. For example, Deploy a Streamlit app from GitHub.
- You work in Positron or VS Code: Deploy from the Posit Publisher extension. You do not need a repository. For example, Deploy a Dash app from Positron or VS Code.
- You work in RStudio: Click Publish in RStudio. For example, Deploy a Shiny for R app from RStudio.
- You want to script deployments or run them automatically: Use the command line. For example, Deploy a Bokeh app from the command line, Deploy a Shiny for R app from the command line, or Deploy a Quarto document with Python from the command line.
