Account management

When you are logged in to Posit AI, you have access to the following account management features from the left sidebar of the Posit AI app.

Home

Your Posit AI home page provides an overview of your account, including your subscription status and usage information. If you are on a free trial, you can also upgrade to the Pro plan.

Upgrading

To upgrade your account from a free trial to a Pro plan, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Posit AI home page.
  2. Click Get Pro Plan.
  3. Follow the prompts to enter your payment information, agree to the terms, and complete the upgrade process.

Billing

Click Billing in the left sidebar to view your billing history, manage your payment methods, and update your billing information.

Usage

Click Usage in the left sidebar to review how many tokens you have used with Posit AI over time. The Usage page shows token and web search totals, along with a chart that breaks your usage down over the selected time period.

Filtering your usage

Use the controls at the top of the page to adjust what the page displays:

  • View by: Choose the time granularity for the report, such as by month.
  • Date navigation: Use the arrows on either side of the date range to move to the previous or next period.
  • Group by: Break your usage down by a dimension, such as by model or token type.
  • Model: Filter the report to a specific model, or select All to include every model.

Summary totals

The summary cards at the top of the page show your totals for the selected period:

  • Total tokens in: The total number of input tokens sent to the model.
  • Total tokens out: The total number of output tokens returned by the model.
  • Total web searches: The total number of web searches performed.

Token usage chart

The Token usage chart plots your token consumption across the selected time period, grouped by your Group by selection. Token usage includes input, output, and cache tokens. All times are shown in UTC.

Account deletion

To delete your Posit AI account:

  1. Sign in to your Posit AI account.
  2. Go to My Settings.
  3. Click Delete Account.
  4. In the confirmation modal, toggle the acknowledgment that you understand the consequences of deleting your account.
  5. Confirm the deletion.
Warning

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. By deleting your account you will:

  • Lose access immediately to your Posit AI account.
  • Lose any remaining credits you may have available, including free trial credits, included monthly credits, and any recharge balances.
  • Have any active subscription canceled automatically at the time of deletion.
