Account creation

You can sign up for Posit AI Pass using an email and password, or quickly register with your existing Google or GitHub account.

Posit AI Pass is a $20/month subscription, and sign-up requires a valid payment method. Eligible new subscribers receive a discounted introductory price of $5 for their first month; see Who is eligible for the $5 first month? in the FAQ for details.

To create an account:

  1. Visit posit.ai.
  2. Click Start for $5 this month.
  3. Select your preferred sign-up method.
  4. Enter your payment information.
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the account creation process by accepting the terms and conditions and setting your data sharing preferences.
  6. After completing the process, you will be taken to your Posit AI Pass home page.
Note

If you initiated the sign-up process from the RStudio or Positron IDE, you will be prompted to return directly to the IDE after successful account creation.
